SILENCE OF THE LAMBS

Loose lips sink ships", "The walls have ears", "Speak no evil." Many are the phrases cautioning speaking out and many have been the time that it was not good to speak for your safety or that of your nation. What is happening today in Washington does not fit into such a situation. Today our corrupt leaders are simply trying to silence us to promote their own agenda and while Obama protests being compared to Hitler, Stalin and such, those comparisons will continue as long as he continues using the tactics on us that they practiced on their people.

I've heard it said that you never miss something until you lose it, and if Obama, Reid and Pelosi have their way we will lose our first amendment rights and the internet, for silence is what the Ruling Class expects of us. Just a few months ago we all heard the President tell Americans to get out of the way, go sit down, and shut up. Never in the history of this country has any President had the audacity to look down on Americans as though they were peons. The last time anyone tried that they were thoroughly whipped and sent back to England with a message...The message was "We have had enough!" It is beginning to look as though our President needs to receive the very same message.

There is one word that I use a lot in my writing...Irony. It is a totally human creation. There is nothing ironic in a dog's life, or a fish's or that of the stately elephant. Only the human mind can set the stage for the truly ironic. Once upon a time, way back in the sixties, there arose a group of people who wanted freedom. Most were born into affluence thereby enjoying all the benefits of capitalism and none of the responsibilities. A poor, or middle class, boy or girl couldn't live that utopian freedom. They had to work.

So, for these young recipients of the good life, the many freedoms they had as Americans was just  not enough. They wanted total freedom, unencumbered by rules, laws, taxes, or tradition, and they had a catch phrase that went along with their concept of liberty: "Never trust anyone over thirty!" That is where the irony begins. They are all now WELL over thirty and their flower power, peace signs and protests are but memories. That is only the start. The irony gets even better. Those wealthy young people, not knowing any form of responsibility, totally embraced the principals of socialism taught by their progressive instructors. Well, sooner or later they had to get out of school and do something with their lives and the very idea of working for a living was just so crass. What to do? Why of course! Politics! What could be better for such an enlightened group of the elite young? Anything less would be beneath the their dignity.

Irony stage one:

The simple fact of the matter is that socialism does not work. It has never worked, and it will never work for the human race, and yet it is dangled before the gullible as being noble and synonymous with  Utopia. The problem is that when it is implemented, without fail, it leads to dystopia. History bears witness to this. The Soviet Union is the best possible example, followed closely by China. On a smaller scale look at North Korea. There is a line across Korea,south of that line people are prosperous, north of the line lies starvation and virtual slavery. Cuba and Venezuela fit neatly into the vacuum of freedom lost and the leaders of both communists nations hold our elected leader in high esteem. 

Being rational is recognizing the fact that there is nothing that can bypass reality. Contradictions do not exist!

Both of these statements are laws of human existence. Wouldn't accepting both of these principals indicate that our liberal leaders are irrational. NO!

Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Barney, Clinton, the whole liberal smörgåsbord are all too aware of the reality of  socialism and its's failings. They know full well that it cannot possibly work! So why do they pursue a lost cause?  The short answer is Power. For the more elaborate explanation we must look back to the concept of freedom that was born in the sixties. They wanted no restrictions at all, the goal was total, absolute freedom. Are you old enough to recall the catch word "Establishment?" Pelosi and Reid are most certainly old enough! They had to have that freedom and the only way to have it was to overthrow the establishment and live as they saw fit.

Again that nasty little thing called reality gets in their way. Freedom such as they craved is not even possible. What they wanted was a peaceful, flower picking, drug smoking, bra burning state of anarchy.  With anarchy, fear is rampant, and gang rule prevails. That certainly does not sound like the world our young progressives had in mind.

So just what is left? They don't want to make a living in the world of business, like common people, and yet  they had to have economic security. Putting up with such a dastardly system was not to their liking. And oh those pesky rules and laws. How unbecoming that people of their stature should have to endure the humility of having courts and constitutions impose in any way on their unrestricted freedom. After adding up all things they want and subtracting all things they don't want; there was only one thing left to do...Become the ruling class. Replace the establishment, and instill their own values and bring Utopia and its blessings to all....especially to them.

Irony...Stage two.

These young left wing ideologues soon learned that their total freedom and their Kum Bay Yahs did not fit into the system very well, so the only solution is to rise above that system. Laws and rules aren't nearly so bad as long as they are the ones writing those laws and rules. But problems still remain. They had learned that money is evil and those who make a lot of it are the most evil of all...But...not about to forsake the socialistic ways they were taught, they learn how to levy taxes against hard working members of the business world. Take so much they they can't grow and gain power, but leave enough to keep them producing. The perfect scheme...Even Karl Marx would have approved.

But over the years the system begins to erode. Some business models fail due to government intervention, other casualties are the result of unions demanding more than can be given. Yet others leave the country in search of affordabler labor. Erosion...that is another one of those words...like irony. It is alway lurking, patiently waiting, knowing that time is an ally, and when erosion and irony join forces, there is hell to pay!

Irony...stage three

All of these elected and appointed officials who have never wanted to get their hands dirty in that crass business world now face a problem. Regulating businesses they know nothing about is a foolish but accepted policy. Punishing people who produce and rewarding those who do not is the standard practice, but it is a loosing battle. It is like a wounded soldier, not hemorrhaging, but slowly bleeding to death nonetheless. At this point a new player must inevitably enter the arena...BLAME.

The elected leaders have seen this day approaching for years and kept it hidden from the taxpayer but when it reaches such an advanced stage of decay everyone knows and are asking questions that politicians don't want to answer. So they do what politicians do best: They lie! That is nothing new. They have been lying and evading for years, but now Americans are calling them out, facing them in town halls and boldly stating "You lie!"

It is obvious to all that the ship of state is in danger of crashing onto the rocks and still the deceptions go on. Bush and Cheney are being blamed constantly. When that begins to fails the progressives resort to blaming each other and now, one at a time, the liberal media begin expressing doubt. News reporters are looking around for a safety net. After all, they have themselves to think about. If this administration goes south they do not want to go along for the ride. Confusion! After all of the promises the politicians made, and all of the support the media has provided, even covering up some issues that just didn't make any sense, and knowingly lying to their viewers about others. Things just are not going the way they should.

Irony ... stage four....Today!

Now as the situation becomes crucial, the public begins openly opposing the administration. It is now that desperation will rear its fearful head. The elitists from the sixties, those caretakers of liberal dogma, those who for so long have been "above it all" are beginning to have a face off with reality and to them, reality is not a smiley face. They just cannot understand why the public no longer wants their inspired leadership.

They had done everything just right. They had followed to the letter, all of the principals in the book "Rules for Radicals,"  Even the dedication burned brightly in the beliefs of this group of the faithful now facing their first setback. Stick to the teaching, remain steadfast remember always the first and most successful radical, the one on whom so much faith was placed:

"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical from all our legends. mythology, and history...the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did so effectively that at least won his own kingdom"----Lucifer.

Those words were written by Saul Alinsky and memorized by the faithful. It makes me wonder just how many of our leaders have these words in a gilded frame occupying a place of honor in their homes and offices.

With such a great role model how could they possibly fail? But they do have a few problems Saul Alinsky and even Lucifer could not have predicted that damn Tea Party. Those old people were supposed to stay home.playing with their grandchildren. Instead they are taking the grandchildren to rallies and even  children are holding signs criticizing the administration.

Fox News is a serious problem! Weren't all journalists supposed to be liberals? But as bad as they are there is one even worse...Bloggers! They are the worst of all! There are so many of them and they are everywhere. You can't hide anything anymore.They are even writing in Canada, England, France, Italy and Tokyo.It seems like the whole world is attacking the Obama administration. These amateurs weren't supposed to be involved! Insulting filthy cartoons from all around the globe are showing up in everyone's E-mail making Obama look like a buffoon. This internet thing is just getting out of  hand and ideas are passed around on how to shut it down and blame it on China or the terrorists or Bush.

There are just too many  things that Alinsky and his co-conspirator Lucifer could not have known about and now those unknowns are coming back to haunt today's professional politicians. They are actually being rebuked. Those silly Tea Baggers are actually making fun of them. How dare they! Using old Saul's advice they are calling the people of the Tea Party "Racists"  and they just keep coming up with all of those black and Latino supporters. Accuse them of being a violent mob, nobody can even find a good reason to arrest one of them.  They won't even walk on the grass where signs say "Keep off the grass" They just keep protesting and waving those amateurish signs that say "Wait until November."

This is the kind of appreciation the unappreciative public is showing. Things just are not going  right! What would Saul Alinsky think? Better yet, what would he do?

P.S.......This was supposed to be the end of this essay. I have never written a blog with a P.S. It just didn't seem like the right thing to do. Here it does because of a You Tube video I watched last week. It was the graduating class at Berkeley University. The young ladies and gentlemen looked so smart in their caps and gowns, and they kept looking smart right up until the first one opened her mouth. They had just finished sixteen years of education and had not learned a damn thing.

I watched in horror as they spilled the contents of their empty little brains to the reporter doing the interview. They had eagerly bought into the progressive ideals that were pumped into their psyche by one professor after another and now they were eager to do their part in the New World Order. With eyes aglow, each went into this conditioned spiel about how Americans have far too much wealth, while the other people of the world were hungry and living under the reign of totalitarianism. Naturally, the right thing to do was for us to have less so we could send more to those third world nations.who had so little.

For a few minutes I fooled myself into thinking that I would like to talk to them, and tell them how the world really works. I even  had the trick question lined up that would prove I was right. I would ask them what if their parents had done what they say they are ready to do? They could not have sent their children to Berkeley because all of their money had been sent to an unemployed communist war lord in some banana republic. No, they wouldn't listen. At the ripe old age of twenty-two they were already too far gone.

But I knew the day would come, if they succeed in their progressive agenda, when these young innocents would eventually come face to face with an unforgiving reality. That experience will strike fear and confusion deep  into their very souls, and even with all of their education, they will still be unable to find the words to describe the sheer horror of the world they had helped to create. Silently they will behold the end of freedom and the beginning of a new Dark Age..That is the Silence of the Lambs.
